Bemis has been in continuous architectural practice in Memphis since 1970. His career of over 35 years includes commercial, residential, and recreational projects in AR, LA, MS, TN and Mexico.

His award winning design portfolio includes well known Memphis restaurants, medical centers, offices, retail centers, residences, and state park facilities such as the area around Reelfoot Lake Tennessee.
